Leah Ansell

Dr. Leah Ansell is a board-certified dermatologist and assistant clinical professor of dermatology at Columbia University-New York Presbyterian Medical Center. She is committed to providing her patients with personalized and comprehensive dermatologic care. She provides a variety of cosmetic and medical procedures and services including neurotoxins, injectable fillers, laser treatments, chemical peels as well as treatments for acne, psoriasis, eczema, hyperhidrosis, mole checks and skin cancer screening.

Dr. Ansell grew up in Chicago and graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College. She earned her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honors society for top graduating medical students. She was also awarded the Phi Rho Sigma Prize for highest overall standing and best performance in medical school. Dr. Ansell completed her Internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, followed by Dermatology Residency at Columbia University New York Presbyterian Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Ansell has publications in scientific journals and book chapters and has presented at national meetings. She plays an active role in the education of residents in the Department of Dermatology at Columbia University. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society.
