Alissa Morrone, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Boston University along a pre-medicine track, graduating cum laude. She earned her Master’s Degree from Jefferson University’s Physician Assistant Program – East Falls Campus in Philadelphia, PA, graduating in the top 10% of her class.
After completing her undergraduate degree, Alissa spent two and a half years in New York City working as a medical assistant in dermatology. She also completed dermatology volunteer work abroad by participating in a medical mission trip in Kenya. This exposed her to skin conditions not generally seen in the Western world. Before starting PA school, Alissa spent additional training in cancer research at The Mount Sinai Hospital. Having had these diverse range of experiences, Alissa was able to build on her foundation of dermatology while in PA school. Her passion for dermatology continued to flourish and her experiences solidified her desire to work in the field.
Alissa is a compassionate provider whose main focus is to provide quality patient care. Her passion lies in patient education and preventative care, specifically relating to dermatologic conditions.
